Demolition & Removing Asbestos are Specialist tasks requiring training and licensing
We can inform, educate and train you with the knowledge and practices required for safe demolition and the removal of asbestos. Our training meets the Legislated requirements for training asbestos workers; and the Training pre-requisite component for an Application for Asbestos Removal licencing with WorkSafe WA (see notes below).
Demolition
The CPCCCM2009 Carry out basic demolition course is required by all persons who enter a Demolition site or are required to carry out any type of work on a demolition site. e.g. Plant Operators, labourers, drivers, supervisors, support staff, etc
The new WHS Legislation 2020 and Regulations 2022 for WA made this the minimum training requirement for this Industry.
CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry skills and knowledge required to identify hazards, hazardous materials, assess risks and work safely in the construction industry. This unit is a pre-requisite for the CPCCCM2009 Carry out basic demolition unit.
These 2 uits are nationally recognised units of competency, delivered by Training Momentum Pty Ltd in partnership with and under the auspices of IPS Institute RTO #32186.
Asbestos
We offer an Asbestos Awareness course for contractors, employees and domestic operators in WA.
The purpose of the course is to equip you/your employees with the knowledge and skills that will help you identify the possible presence of Asbestos, steps required to safely manage risks/hazards associated with asbestos and to structure your workplace environment.

These Asbestos courses are nationally recognised units of competency, delivered by Training Momentum Pty Ltd in partnership with and under the auspices of Alert Force RTO #91826.

CPCCDE3014 Remove non-friable asbestos - required for all asbestos removalists removing Non-Friable "bonded" asbestos under a Class B / Restricted Asbestos Removal Licence (WorkSafe)
CPCCDE3015 Remove friable asbestos - required for all asbestos removalists removing FRIABLE asbestos under a Class A / UnRestricted Asbestos Removal Licence (WorkSafe)
CPCCDE4008 Supervise asbestos removal - required for all Supervisors on asbestos removal sites for all types of asbestos under either a Class A or B / Unrestricted OR Restricted Asbestos Removal Licence (WorkSafe)
CPCCDE5001 Conduct air monitoring and clearance inspections for asbestos removal work - Clearance Inspections are required to be completed by an independent competent person on asbestos removal sites for all types of asbestos - a WorkSafe Asbestos Assessor Licence may also be required
