Course Overview

This Nationally recognised Unit of Competency will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This would be suitable for those working in operational roles where they are required to perform work at heights.

Course Content

This course includes training and information on:

  • Identifing work requirements
  • Identifing work procedures and instructions
  • Access and installing equipment
  • Perform work at heights
  • Clean up work area

Delivery Location

This course is delivered at our location in Welshpool.

Pre-Requisite Information

  • MUST have Basic English Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • MUST be over 16 years of age (if under 18yrs must have a signed consent form by a parent or guardian, this can be provided on enrolment by Training Momentum)
  • MUST wear long sleeved shirt, long pants and steel-capped boots
  • Bring 2 forms of I.D. (1 photographic I.D. is required)

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment with the unit 'RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights' will be issued.

Training Momentum Pty Ltd deliver and assess this course under a third-party agreement with IPS Institute RTO #32186. IPS Institute will issue your certificate upon successful completion of your course.

Expiration

This is a nationally recognised unit of competency which does not expire however the industry recommendation is to complete a refresher course every 2 years.
